Liaoning Whowin spent much of the last few weeks of this season in the bottom two of the China top flight table. However, the team has been on a roll lately as they won their last two games, lifting them to 11th place in the standings, four points away from the relegation area.

Liaoning Whowin's most recent victory was an impressive 2-0 romp over Changchun Yatai FC at the Development Area Stadium on Sunday, according to Goal.

Zambian striker James Chamanga scored a brace in the 40th and 83rd minute respectively to lead head coach Ma Lin's side to their second-straight win. Local striker Zhang Ye and midfielder Yang Yu provided the assists for the two goals.

Meanwhile, Guangzhou R&F has also been doing well with a win and two draws in their last three matches, snapping a three-game losing slide.

The Blue Lions managed to hold Beijing Guoan FC to a 1-1 tie at the Yuexiushan Stadium last Sunday for their second-straight draw, according to Soccerway.

Imperial Guards midfielder Piao Cheng opened the scoring in the 26th minute from an assist by defender Zhang Xinxin, before Australian striker Apostolos Giannou equalized for Guangzhou right at the stroke of halftime with a goal coming off a pass from fellow import Renatinho of Brazil.

Head coach Dragan Stojković's squad is currently sitting on the ninth spot of the league table, only two points ahead of Liaoning and Shijiazhuang Ever Bright.

The predicted result is a tough 1-0 win for Liaoning Whowin.
