Oukitel K7000 Features as Thinnest Smartphone With Gigantic 7000 mAh Battery

The upcoming Oukitel K7000 will feature a gigantic 7000 mAh Li-Ion battery and would have an ultrathin thickness of just 4 mm, making it the thinnest smartphone on the market.

According to Gizmo China, there are rumors that the K7000 will have a 5-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. The device is expected to have either 3 GB of RAM or 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expandable up to 128 GB via a microSD card.

The K7000 is also expected to come with a metal unibody chassis. The device would feature a 13-megapixel camera at the back with an LED flash, full high-definition recording, and autofocus as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats. It would also sport a proximity sensor, FM radio, and accelerometer.

The device would be powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6755 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz. The K7000 would run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and would also feature the Mali T720 GPU. The smartphone would be available in white and black options.

The connectivity options for the device include GPRS, EDGE, 2G, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Micro USB 2.0.

The predecessor to the K700, the K6000, which costs $238, has a large 6000 mAh battery with a 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage that can be expandable up to 64 GB via a microSD card. It has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD with a pixel density of 401 ppi and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and sports the Mali 400 GPU.
