BBK's First Imoo GET (M1000) Smartphone With AMOLED Display Spotted and Got Certified on TENAA

BBK's first educational smartphone called Imoo GET (M1000) with an AMOLED display has been certified by China's telecommunication certification authority (TENAA).

The Imoo GET had leaked in an image with few specifications on AnTuTu, Phone Radar reported. The AnTuTu listing showed the device with the model number M1000. In the TENAA listing, all the details of the device were provided - except its price, which would be unveiled on the day it is released.

The Imoo GET has a 5.5-inch full high-definition AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core Helio P10 MediaTek MT6755 chipset clocked at a speed of 2.0 GHz. According to GSM Arena, the Imoo GET runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with Mali T860 GPU and customized UI to make the phone student-friendly. It comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage without any microSD card slot. It also features a 13-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies.

The Imoo GET lacks a fingerprint scanner at the back and also has a unique laser for scanning the equations to make solutions as well as words to translate or provide dictionary meanings. A separate button on its left edge is used to quickly scan anything.

The Imoo GET is packed with a 2930 mAh battery that can last at least a day of usage. It features a dual-SIM dual-standby support and offers a connectivity option of a 4G LTE with VoLTE. Its dimensions are 158 x 78 x 7 millimeters with a weight of 154.5 grams. The device would come in silver, champagne gold, and rose gold colors.
