Henan Shendian Laojiu Smashes Beijing Dongfan in 20th Round of Chinese National Basketball League

The red-hot Henan Shendian Laojiu continued their winning roll after crushing Beijing Dongfan with a 21-point margin 137-116 victory in the 20th round of the Chinese National Basketball League (NBL) on Wednesday in Henan.

With the win, the host team improved to a 14-6 win-loss record and extended their winning streak to a spectacular seven-straight games in a row. Henan now sits on the third place of the 14-club team standings - four games behind league leaders Anhui and Shaanxi.

According to Asia-Basket, Henan's foreign basketball reinforcements scored a combined 80 points and pulled down game-high 13 rebounds apiece to lead the team to the victory. Darius Washington had four assists while former NBA forward Earl Clark handed out three dimes, with both players staying on the court for 42 minutes.

Chinese player Qingfei Min finished the game with a double-double production of 23 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 11 for 14 from the field and registering two steals for the winners. YuXing Yang added 18 points, five assists and three steals for Henan, who will be facing Luoyang at home on Friday.

Henan outrebounded the opposing team 47-41, and the team's reserves outscored Beijing.

American forward Emanuel Jones paced Beijing with game-high 41 points while Ater Majok had 32 points and 13 rebounds. Domestic player Han Qiaowen finished the match with 27 points and 11 boards.

According to NowGoal, Henan entered the final twelve minutes of the match with a comfortable 18-point advantage 108-90. The winners continued to storm Beijing with a 29-26 charge in the fourth period and claimed the victory.
