Health care product manufacturer DynoSense has debuted a clinical scanner capable of tracking 33 body metrics in a minute.

The DynoSense device can provide physicians and other medical care providers critical data on a person's health and can potentially save lives.

It looks like a disc with a thermometer attached to it. This device is inserted into a base that supports Wi-Fi and 3G. The base transmits a user's metrics to a doctor.

The device is just as easy to use as thermometer. The user needs only to put the device in his mouth and hold it for a minute while the instrument records the user's vitals.

The metrics, as well as a grade and score, is shown on the app. DynoSense's score, which is a number between 0 and 100, assesses the individual's health.

The grade is displayed as letters from A to F. It shows how a user's health rate and vital signs fare in relation to the user's environment, and compared to a demographic group.

If, for example, the subject lives in a heavily polluted area, the device takes the information into consideration when computing the user's grade.

DynoSense will be connected to a mobile app that will display all its metrics and the dashboard can be customized. Moreover, the device, whose, is HIPAA compliant and can transmit these numbers to a doctor.

"The average user only cares about one or two things," said Saeed Azimi, DynoSense founder and chief executive, in an interview with VentureBeat.

DynoSense displays these important things as a summary of the user's health and a recommendation if the user should go to the doctors for a check-up.

DynoSense is taking pre-orders for the device, which will retail for US$199. The device will ship in the late summer of 2015.
