Hong Kong actress Jeannie Chan's relationship with Arnaldo Ho is rumored to have ended, according to On.cc.

In 2015, the TVB actress' relationship with the son of Macau casino tycoon Stanley Ho surfaced with both parties admitting to it. However, recent reports suggest that their relationship is going downhill.

According to AsianPop News, rumor has it that Ho broke up with Chan. Local media outlets stated that the reason behind the rift was the actress' insistence to getting married and that Ho felt pressured because of it.

Another version of the report states that Chan was involved with Owen Cheung, thus the breakup.

The 26-year old actress, who returned from a break in Canada, attended an event in Hong Kong on Thursday, July 21. During a run-in with the media, Chan admitted that her relationship with her boyfriend has "taken a step back."

The actress is said to have explained that she and Ho wanted their relationship to be low profile, but instead, it led to rumors and speculations.

"We wish to prioritize our careers, and let out relationship take a step back," the actress stated, noting that reports only made matters complicated.

"It is very simple," Chan told the press, referring to her relationship status.

When asked if the current state of their relationship was because of her pressuring Ho to tie the knot, the actress insisted that it was not the case. She expressed that she is "a little angry" about the speculation and explained that she and Ho have never talked about marriage.

Furthermore, Chan stated that she is not ready to get married yet.

Chan said that she and her boyfriend are "stressed out," but are currently comfortable with their situation. The actress refused to share any details regarding their breakup, but denied allegations that the breakup was caused by Owen Cheung.
