Lowly squads Tianjin Teda FC (5-7-7, 22 points) and Liaoning Whowin FC (6-7-6, 24 points) are set to clash at the Tianjin Olympic Center Stadium on July 31, Sunday in a round 20 match of the 2016 Chinese Super League season.

Tianjin is on a downward spiral at the moment as the team has been winless in their last seven assignments, losing five and drawing two, to drop to the 12th spot of the league table from as high as sixth place during the first few weeks of competitions. It was a struggle defensively for head coach Dragan Okuka's boys as they gave up nine goals in their last three games

Their most recent match was on the road last Saturday at the Jinhua Sports Center, which ended up in a crushing 1-3 loss to Hangzhou Greentown, as per Soccerway.

The Green Giants newest acquisition, Croatian midfielder Sammir, scored the opening goal in injury time of the first half to give the hosts a one-point lead at the break.

The Tianjin Tigers were able to level the count at the 78th, courtesy of midfielder Li Yuanyi's goal, and looked headed to another draw, but two more goals for Hangzhou, one from Denilson Gabionetta and the other one was Sammir's second for the night, gave them their second consecutive defeat.

Meanwhile, Liaoning Whowin has been inconsistent in their last three games, going through a draw, a loss, and finally a win in their last match against powerhouse club Shanghai SIPG, 3-1, at the Shenyang Olympic Sports Center Stadium on Saturday, Shanghai Daily reported.

SIPG's Jean Evrard Kouassi netted the opening goal in the match as the Massive looked headed to another convincing win, but the Northeast Tigers fought back valiantly in the second half, scoring three straight goals to pull off the upset.

James Chamanga, Sun Shilin, and Anthony Ujah each scored a goal for manager Ma Lin's side to complete their three-goal haul in the contest.

The predicted result is a tough 2-1 decision for Liaoning Whowin.
