Reigning badminton men's singles world No. 1 Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia has admitted that he is feeling more pressure ahead of his final campaign for that elusive Olympic gold medal at Rio de Janiero, Brazil.

The two-time Olympic silver medalist shuttler lost the last two Olympic finals to his longtime badminton nemesis Lin Dan of China. Lee, who is already 33-years-old, knows that Rio will be his final shot to achieve his golden dream of winning the Olympic gold medal.

"I feel more pressure on my shoulders as after the next four years I think I have no chance, so this is my last chance," Lee said.

Lee, who has never won a world or Olympic title, has fought his way back to the top of the rankings after returning from a doping ban last year, according to BadmintonPlanet. The Malaysian badminton ace has won four different titles this year, including his second Asia Badminton Championships and his sixth Indonesia Open crown.

The Kuala Lumpur-based shuttler will face Lin at the semi-finals in Rio, with China's current world No. 2 Chen Long playing in the other half of the draw.

According to Sportskeeda, Lin is considered the greatest player to have graced the game and the five-time world champion Chinese badminton star will be hoping to win his third consecutive Olympic gold medal. Lin, who is currently ranked as world No. 3, was successful at the 2008 Beijing Games and the 2012 London Olympics.

On the other hand, Chen Long, who was the bronze medalist at the last quadrennial event, is also looking forward to a podium finish at Rio.
