Adding a GPS feature to a camera can open up a whole set of new functions. One of the most common is the availability of the map. The video also reveals a new feature simply called GoPro Sniper. However, it is unclear what this feature represents.

The upcoming GoPro camera will also sport an updated gesture control feature. One of the confirmed gesture controls of GoPro Hero 5 is access to the quick settings menu by simply swiping down from the top of the screen.

The GoPro Hero 5 is expected to be released in September, along with the company's first ever drone dubbed GoPro Karma.
