Anhui Wenyi continued their dominance over Jiangsu Hualan by winning them for the third consecutive time in their best-of-five quarterfinal series of the Chinese National Basketball League on Wednesday night. Anhui is now set for a semifinals showdown with Henan Shedian Laojiu.

According to Asia-Basket, the second top-seeded team ousted Hualan with an impressive 131-121 Game 4 triumph spearheaded by the former NBA player Manny Harris. The prolific American swingman, who played for the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers, exploded with a spectacular triple-double game performance of 56 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists along with four steals to lead Anhui to the win.

Local guard Yonggang Zhang, who also had a remarkable game, finished with 27 points and four boards and former Washington Wizards player Chris Singleton contributed 15 markers and 13 rebounds for the winners. Jian Li and Showei Cun chipped in a combined 20 points and seven boards for Anhui.

During the game, the winning team dominated the shaded area, scoring 94 points from the paint compared to the losing side's 66 points. Anhui also played a pretty good defense, forcing Hualan to commit 19 turnovers.

According to NowGoal, Anhui began the game strong pounding Hualan with a 33-27 run in the opening period. The Weidong Hu-headed basketball team capped the first half of the game with a five-point lead 64-59 after a 32-31 charge staged by Hualan.

In the third period, the winning team found new energy offensively pounding Hualan with a 36-33 third quarter outburst to further extend its lead to eight points 100-92 entering the final twelve minutes of the quarterfinals match.

In the fourth quarter of the game, Anhui contained Hualan and protected its lead to make sure of their victory with a 31-29 run to earn a ticket into the semis.

Foreign reinforcement Wendell McKines paced Hualan with 43 points and 10 rebounds while Craig Brackins had 28 markers and 12 boards.
