Bottom two squad Shijiazhuang Ever Bright FC (4-10-8, 20 points) pulled off a second straight drawn match as they held plummeting team Tianjin Teda FC (5-7-9, 24 points) to a 2-2 draw at their home field of Yutong International Sports Center in a 2016 Chinese Super League encounter on Saturday.

Tianjin Teda right winger Hu Rentian netted the opening goal during the contest with a brilliant individual move at the 23rd minute to give new manager Jaime Pacheco's side the early lead, via Soccerway.

Shijiazhuang Ever Bright's Portuguese import Ruben Micael then leveled the count at the 36th with his own one-on-one play against goalkeeper Yang Qipeng to preserve a 1-1 tie at the halftime break.

The hosts managed to grab the lead one minute after the hour mark in the second half as Micael assisted on a goal by newly-signed Brazilian striker Matheus to make it 2-1.

However, Tianjin Tigers vice-captain Cao Yang found the equalizer with five minutes left before full time off a pass from teammate Hui Jiakang to make it 2-2, as per Xinhuanet, and salvage the draw and a share of a point in the overall standings for the two squads.

Shijiazhuang has only won twice in their last 14 matches, which dropped them to the 14th spot of the 16-team China top flight table. The last two finishers at the end of the season will be relegated to the country's second-tier association football competitions, the China League One, next term.

Their last win of the season came on July 21, a 2-1 nipping of Shanghai Shenhua, which is the first game after head coach Gregorio Manzano's side lost former Chelsea striker Demba Ba for the season following a gruesome broken leg injury. Shijiazhuang has not won anything since then.

Meanwhile, it was also the second straight drawn game for Tianjin who themselves are also on a nine-game winless slide. The team has only won twice in their last 13 games to drop to 13th place in the current league table.
