Miley Cyrus is Fashion Week's newest celebrity designer.

The pop singer made her official debut at designer Jeremy Scott's show on Wednesday as she donned her funky jewelry made of various colorful materials such as alphabet beads and toys. The said show was held at a gallery space in downtown Manhattan.

Photographers swarmed Cyrus who was wearing a colorful, heavily patterned bra tap and pants, accessorizing her attire with her own handmade jewelry.

After the runway show, which included many of Cyrus' accessories, Scott scooped up the singer from the front row to bring her onstage and join him during his victory lap.

Scott then shared backstage how the singer contributed to the success of his fashion show.

The designer explained that he and Cyrus live close to each other in Los Angeles and that during a party, Cyrus had shown him the jewelry she made.

"I said 'Wow, this kind of looks like my collection - it's colorful and stream-of-consciousness and everything just kind of goes and somehow works. I was like, 'Oh my god this looks so cool, would you think about doing something?'," he said.

Cyrus agreed and a partnership was formed. Scott reiterated that Cyrus herself made everything by hand. Scott explained that his collection is inspired by a celebration - by a music festival, a beach party, just people having fun. 

His collection was certainly fun, including pieces such as patchwork pants, teddybear slippers, brightly colored hippie dresses and sneaker boots with flowers. A notable piece in his collection was a sweater and shirt designed with the face of Shrek and the words "Shrek Happens."

Comedian and talk show host Whoopi Goldberg, who attended Scott's show with her granddaughter, said of the Shrek moment: "So much fun. I could see my granddaughter in everything. Including the Shrek sweater? I want the Shrek sweater. I'm too old, but I want it."
