Chinese tech company DJI has unveiled a new addition to its growing set of image stabilization devices. Dubbed as the DJI Osmo Mobile, the device is what most people will call a "selfie stick."

Just like a conventional selfie stick, the Osmo Mobile works with compatible smartphones. It adds a stabilization system to snap more precise and professional-grade photos. Popular smartphone models like the Apple iPhone 5, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 6s Plus are compatible with the Osmo Mobile.

Just like previous models of the Osmo, the Osmo Mobile sports the proprietary three-axis gimbal stabilization to increase precision down to an impressive 0.03 degree of accuracy. Together with DJI's SmoothTrack technology, the Osmo Mobile takes away all the worries about shaking; giving way to clearer, smoother, and high-quality shots.

The Osmo Mobile sports a handful of buttons and functions. Among these is a trigger that allows users to stop the device from moving, and a button that switches the phone into selfie mode. There is also a joystick that can move the arm of the Osmo Mobile and holds the smartphone in place.

The Osmo Mobile has a tracking feature. This means that even if a user is not manually operating the device, it will automatically follow the subject it is recording with just a push of a button. DJI also made sure that the Osmo Mobile has live streaming support for popular streaming sites like YouTube.

According to CNBC, DJI said that the targeted buyers of the Osmo Mobile are bloggers, hobbyists, and journalists. The DJI Osmo Mobile costs $299.
