Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo has officially launched its latest addition to the A flagship series smartphones - the Lenovo A6600, Lenovo A6600 Plus, and Lenovo A7700 - in India. These devices are 4G VoLTE enabled and compatible with Reliance Jio Preview offer SIM card in the region.

According to Executive Director of the Mobile Business Group of Lenovo India, Sudhin Mathur, the Lenovo A series smartphones was one of the company's star performers during last year sales. Mathur added that more than million units of the Lenovo A6000, A6000 Plus, and A7700 were sold last year.

The Lenovo A6600 smartphone would cost at around Rs. 6,999 (approximately $104.63 / 698.92 Yuan), while the Lenovo A7700 is priced at Rs 8,540 (around $127.66 / 852.76 Yuan). However, the official price of the Lenovo A6600 has not been revealed yet.

As for the specification of the Lenovo A6600 series smartphones, both devices run on Android 6.0 operating system out of the box. The devices are powered by a quad-core 64-bit MediaTek 6735p processor clocked at a speed of 1.0GHz coupled with 16GB internal memory storage. The A6600 comes with 1GB of RAM, while the A6600 Plus is equipped with 2GB of RAM.

The Lenovo A6600 series smartphones feature a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display screen. Both devices sport an 8-megapixels autofocus main camera with flash support. The devices also support dual VoLTE enabled SIM cards and are fueled by a 2,300 mAh battery. Lenovo's A6600 series would be available in matte black and matte white color.

The Lenovo A7700 features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display screen and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6735p processor clocked at a speed of 1.0GHz. It comes with 2GB of RAM and a built-in 16GB internal storage. It features an 8-megapixels rear camera with dual LED flash. The device packs a 2,900 mAh battery and comes with a pre-loaded Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
