The Golden State Warriors are reportedly planning to trade Klay Thompson to the Orlando Magic for Kevin Durant's former teammate Serge Ibaka.

Thompson has recently been the subject of a lot of trade rumors as he goes on a shooting slump early in the season. From 47.0 and 42.5 percent last year, his field goal and three-point shooting percentages have dropped to 41.2 and 20.8 percent after seven games this season.

Some analysts believe that the presence of Durant has affected Thompson's game, particularly the shots and open looks that he used to have. But the former Washington State standout has refuted the rumors, saying Durant should not be blamed for his cold spell.

"Not at all," Thompson told reporters with regard to his current shooting slump, via ESPN. "I struggled last year for the first 20 games, and Kevin wasn't here. So it has nothing to do with Kevin."

Thompson has recently been linked to the Milwaukee Bucks and Minnesota Timberwolves, but the latest team rumored to be interested in trading for him is the Orlando Magic with Ibaka as the centerpiece of a package, according to Sportsrageous.

The rumor mill is abuzz with reports suggesting Thompson should be traded soonest to balance the Warriors lineup. This latest trade rumor proposes Golden State to send Thompson to Orlando in exchange for Ibaka, Mario Herzonja, Aaron Gordon, and a 2017 first-round pick.

The particular trade will provide the Warriors more ceiling, bench depth, and team defense that their "super-team" is lacking right now. For the Magic, Thompson will give them one of the best shooting guards in the league to boost their offense as the team has been struggling on that end of the court.

Ibaka to Golden State will also be a reunion of sorts with his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Durant, which would make his entry somehow more seamless.

There were rumors that one of the reasons that pushed Durant to exit the Thunder and join the Warriors in the summer is OKC's decision to trade away Ibaka. Ibaka is said to be Durant's favorite teammate during their seven years together in Oklahoma City.
