Xinjiang Flying Tigers Extend Winning Streak, Remains Unbeaten in the Chinese Basketball Association

League leader Xinjiang Flying Tigers extended its winning roll after claiming another victory over the team of Jiangsu Dragons with a 115-106 triumph in the sixth round of the ongoing 22nd edition of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) on Sunday evening.

The victory was Xinjiang's six consecutive win since the league's new season kicked off last month. It also strengthens the Flying Tiger's hold to the top of the team standings with an unblemished record of 6-0, in which they are currently knotted with the Shanghai Sharks, who also remain undefeated in six outings.

According to EuroBasket, American-Bulgarian point guard Darius Adams scored a game-high 50 points to lead the Quiping Liu-headed team for the victory.  The foreign reinforcement stepped up his game as former NBA player Andray Blatche only managed to play for seven minutes and contribute eight points for the Flying Tigers, who forced the opposing side to commit 15 turnovers during the game.

Xinjiang's Chinese guard Xirelijiang Muhtar had 14 points while Changdong Yu and TongLin Sun finish the match with 12 points apiece.

American swingman MarShon Brooks paced the Dragons, who suffered their fifth loss of the season, with 47 points and Chinese big man Yuanyu Li chipped in with 13 markers.

The team of Guangzhou Long-Lions will be the Flying Tiger's next game assignment in the seventh round of the tournament, which will be played on Tuesday. The Long-Lions are currently in the bottom-low of the team standings, losing all of its six games played this season.

Basing from the game results of NowGoal, the Xinjiang ended the first half of the match with a commanding 21-point margin 63-42. However, in the third quarter of the contest, Jiangsu tried to stage a comeback with a 39-25 run to cut the deficit to within seven points 88-81.

In the final quarter, the Flying Tigers managed to hold the Dragons to just 25 points while they produced 27 points to seal the victory.
