Miami Heat big man Chris Bosh is reportedly planning to resume his NBA career next season and the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls, and Toronto Raptors are all potential destinations for the 11-time NBA All-Star.

Bosh, 32, had been battling blood-clotting issues in the past two years before Miami decided to completely shut him down this season. Heat president Pat Riley announced before training camp in the summer that the team is no longer encouraging Bosh to ever play on the court again, but he is free to decide to continue to play for another team.

The two-time NBA champion is still in Miami's payroll this season and there are still no official reports of teams interested in taking a chance on him and giving him the opportunity to continue his basketball career.

Miami Herald's Barry Jackson reported that Bosh will "more likely to attempt a comeback next season than this season" and that Miami "eventually needs clarity on that" because of salary cap issues.

The Heat will reportedly have to wait until Feb. 9 to waive Bosh and his salary from their books because if Miami releases him now and he decides to make a comeback this season, then his salary will "go back on the Heat's cap if he plays 25 games with another team (regular season and/or playoffs)", according to league rules.

At the moment, Miami is third from the last place in the Eastern Conference with a 7-15 record and it is increasingly looking like a lost season for the club.

If the Heat successfully clears Bosh's salary from their cap, then they could be major players close to this season's February trade deadline.

Meanwhile, Sportsrageous indicated that three teams could be interested in acquiring Bosh as soon as he becomes available, namely the Cavs, Bulls, and Raptors.

His pals LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are in Cleveland and Chicago respectively while Toronto was his original NBA team where he spent his first seven seasons in the league before joining the Heat in the summer of 2010.
