Kanye West and Donald Trump may be on good terms now but things have not always been smooth sailing between the rapper and the incoming President.

A couple years before their Trump tower meeting last December 13th, Trump body-shamed Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian. In February 2013 the now president-elect discussed Kardashian's weight during an interview with infamous radio personality, Howard Stern.

When asked about how he feels about Kardashian being a sex-symbol, Trump replied saying, "Does she have a good body? No, she doesn't but she absolutely does have a fat ass and if it weren't attached to Kim I'm sure people would say, oh wow I would not want to go out with that."

The 36-year old socialite was also criticised by Trump for her pregnancy weight gain, during a 2013 interview with Showbiz Tonight, the 70-year old businessman turned president spoke about Kardashian saying, "I mean she's a nice person and I have known her and her family for a couple years, they're all really nice people but Kim has gotten a bit large as of late. If I were to advise her on what to wear I would tell her that she shouldn't be dressing as if she weighs a mere 120 pounds."

Despite the past, it seems like West and Trump are in good terms especially since they spent more than 15 minutes at the Trump tower in New York City. A source confirmed that the two spoke about life and exchanged ideas but the source denied the claim that West was being considered for an ambassador role.
