Chinese smartphone make Vivo officially launched its latest selfie-focused device in India dubbed as the Vivo Y66 smartphone. The device is currently priced in the country for Rs. 14,990 or roughly equivalent to $228.93. The Vivo Y66 smartphone will be available in Matte Black and Gold colour options.

The Vivo Y66 smartphone features a 5.5 LCD IPS HD display screen with 1280 pixels by 720 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the handheld device is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM onboard. It comes equipped with a built-in 32GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expandable up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

On the photography department, the Vivo Y66 sports a 13-megapixels rear-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and rear LED flash support. On the front is a 16-megapixels sensor with f/2.0 aperture support. Interestingly, the cameras of the phone support Moonlight Selfie, which is basically Vivo's branding for the front flash, Panorama, Face Beauty, Night, HDR, Filters, Professional Photo, and Timers.

The Vivo Y66 smartphone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Vivo's latest customized Funtouch OS 3.0 user interface laid on top of it. Fueling the device is a 3000 mAh capacity battery.

Other features the Vivo Y66 smartphone offers include Wi-Fi, GPS, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, 2G, 3G, 4G FDD-LTEB1/B3/B5/B8, 4G TDD-LTEB40, and OTG. Sensors on the phone are Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, E-compass, and Proximity Sensor. The smartphone measures body dimensions of 153.8 mm x 75.5 mm x 7.6mm.
