The US Secret Service apprehended two men on Saturday for different levels of security breach, including a bomb threat in the night.

An unidentified man jumped over a bicycle rack in an attempt to enter the White House a little before 1 pm on Saturday. Law enforcement officials said that the man, who wanted to deliver a document to the presidential residence and did not have a weapon, was tackled by the Secret Service and arrested.

At 11:05 pm on the same day, another man drove his car to a security checkpoint of the White House and claimed that he had a bomb with him. The driver was arrested immediately and the car was seized and searched. 

The checkpoint was blocked and the streets closed. Bomb technicians were called to the site, but it is still unclear if there was a bomb in the vehicle. 

President Donald Trump was not at the White House as he was spending the weekend in his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
