Newly-promoted club Tianjin Quanjian FC (0-1-1, 1 point) will host fellow winless squad Henan Jianye FC (0-0-2, 2 points) at their home field of Haihe Educational Football Stadium on Saturday, April 1 as the 2017 Chinese Super League season continues.

Head coach Fabio Cannavaro's squad opened the season with a sorry 0-2 loss to Guangzhou R&F at the Guangdong Provincial People's Stadium on March 4 before holding powerhouse squad Shanghai Shenhua to a 1-1 draw also on the road at the Hongkou Stadium on March 11 during their second match, as per Shanghai Daily.

After a goalless first half of action, Shenhua captain Giovanni Moreno opened the scoring in the 75th minute for the 10-man Shanghai squad before Tianjin's Belgian import Axel Witsel netted the equalizer in the 85th.

Shenhua went a man-down in the 24th minute after Qin Sheng was sent off for stamping the foot of Witsel during a shoving match inside the penalty box.

Meanwhile, Henan Jianye also settled to a 1-1 tie with Liaoning Whowin on the road at the Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium during their most recent fixture on March 12, ESPN reported.

It was also a scoreless first half for both sides as Liaoning Yang Yu scored the opening goal in the hour-mark of the match while Henan import Eddi Gomes equalized two minutes later.

Henan was held to a goalless tie by Hebei China Fortune in Zhengzhou during their season-opener on March 5.

The predicted result is a tough 1-0 win for Tianjin Quanjian.
