Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has officially launched its latest device called the Huawei Honor 8 Lite in India for the price of Rs. 17,999 ($279). The Honor 8 Lite smartphone will be available in Black color only.

The Huawei Honor 8 Lite smartphone features 5.2-inch Full HD display screen with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels and 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Kirin 655 processor, which is paired with Mali T830-MP2 GPU for the graphics and 4GB of RAM onboard. It comes with a built-in 64GB of internal memory storage.

On the camera side, the Huawei Honor 8 Lite smartphone flaunts a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash support. On the front is an 8-megapixel sensor with 77-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.0 aperture. The phone runs on the latest Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system out of the box, which is coupled with Huawei's latest EMUI 5.0 user interface.

Powering inside the Huawei Honor 8 Lite smartphone is a 3000 mAh capacity battery. Other features the smartphone offers include 4G VoLTE, Hybrid Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD), Micro-USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors available on the phone include an Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, and Ambient light sensor.

Additionally, the Honor 8 Lite smartphone also comes with a built-in fingerprint technology, which is located on the back panel of the device.
