A homeless man at risk of contracting Ebola after he came in contact with Dallas Ebola patient Thomas Duncan had been located, authorities revealed on Sunday.

Initially identified as Michael Lively, the homeless man from Texas was located several hours after authorities announced to the media that he was missing.

The man, who had been deemed as a "low-risk individual," showed no signs of having the disease after he was tested Saturday together with some 38 other individuals who came in contact with Duncan.

"We are working to locate the individual and get him to a comfortable, compassionate place where we can monitor him and care for his every need for the full incubation period," Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said in a statement.

However, according to reports, Lively disappeared after health authorities tested him for Ebola.

Meanwhile, Duncan, who was the first Ebola patient to be on American soil, "has taken a turn for the worse."

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Thomas Frieden revealed on Sunday that Duncan's condition had gotten worse from "serious" to "critical."

Reports revealed that the first U.S. Ebola patient was not given any ZMapp, the Ebola experimental drug manufactured by the San Diego-based Mapp Biopharmaceutical to help cure his disease because it was "all gone."

According to Frieden, Duncan's condition is depending solely on his doctors, his family and himself as they are the only ones to decide what sort of treatment to undertake in his case.

Frieden stated that as far as authorities are aware, the experimental medication is not being used. Should the family decide otherwise, the experimental drug from Canada's Tekmira Pharmaceuticals Corp. is readily available though he warned that it "can be quite difficult for patients to take."
