Members of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) justify their kidnapping of women for sex slavery as part of Islamic teachings, a statement that is widely resented by Muslim communities around the world.

In an article published Sunday titled The Revival (of) Slavery Before the Hour, ISIS explained that "enslaving families of the kuffar" and taking women to serve as concubines are already "established aspects" of the Shariah.  The magazine, Dabi, detailed that women from Yazidi tribe can be legitimately kidnapped and be converted into concubines or sex workers.

Human Rights Watch adviser Fred Abrahams and his group released a report on the crimes inflicted by ISIS against the Yazidis including horrifying accounts from 76 people in Dohuk.  Among the human rights violations include forced religious membership, sexual assault, and slavery committed against women and children.

Tens of thousands of Yazidi families were displaced from their homes in August after ISIS forced them to leave their communities while the women and girl were sold to other militants as "spoils of war," CNN reported.

Also, the publication seemingly glorifies massacres against Kurdish soldiers along with other brutal acts and graphic images of murder.  Ironically, the 56-page ISIS magazine also featured their so-called "services for Muslims," where photographs of elderly in home care and cancer patients in treatment facilities are shown.

In the last portion of the magazine, British journalist John Cantlie, who is currently held captive, reportedly wrote a message that he is expecting his death soon "unless something changes very quickly and very radically."
