Kenny G who is known for being a jazz musician made a statement about the on going Hong Kong protest on Twitter as he wishes for the event to stop and for the people in the area to achieve peace. He said that he doesn't exactly support the whole display of violence and it is because he has no idea of what is really going on.

The jazz artist just wanted to send his message of peace to everyone involved in the rally. He placed his opinion on his Twitter and Facebook account and apparently, Beijing didn't like what he did as that was viewed as him meddling with their political issues.

The head of the Foreign Ministry in Hong Kong Hua Chunying is very much aware of how famous Kenny G is in their country especially when he just wrapped up a concert last September. She didn't say anything about the artist but she did warn all foreigners to stay away from the issue. On the other hand, Beijing is convinced that there are foreigners who are trying to influence the people protesting in the area. Although they didn't really drop any names on who could possibly be behind this, still they made a general warning for all foreigners not to be involved.

Meanwhile, Kenny G did post a victory sign on his Twitter account just right next to a poster that says Democracy In Hong Kong. The Chinese government wasn't too happy about this display so they made some serious statement for him to stop being involved.

Twitter is blocked by China although some of the people following the artist would still be able to see the comment posted and shared regarding his pictures and tweets.
