While many celebrated Halloween yesterday with candy and festivities, NBA fans were treated with basketball games and interesting moments. Here's a brief breakdown of some of the better moments that happened during Halloween in the NBA.

One of the main highlights from major sports media outlets including ESPN is LeBron James bouncing back from his disappointing performance in the opening game for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The nerves clearly got to LeBron in the first loss against the Knicks on Thursday, as he scored 17 points on 5-of-15 shooting from the field, while committing eight turnovers.

However, LeBron bounced back with 36 points, eight rebounds and four assists shooting 14-of-30 from the field to beat their Eastern Conference competitors, the Chicago Bulls, in overtime on Halloween.

Bulls fans received an unexpected Halloween scare of their own, as Derrick Rose appeared to have suffered an injury leaving him to sit out the entire 4th quarter and overtime. An X-Ray came back negative however, and Rose seems to be fine.

Even new Milwaukee Bucks coach Jason Kidd received a brief scare as Larry Sanders almost scored against his own team.

It was also evident on Halloween that the Western Conference is going to be very competitive and fun to watch.

The Suns used team basketball with six players scoring in double-figures to spoil the returning champions, San Antonio Spurs, with a 94-89 win. Meanwhile, Rudy Gay dropped 40 points on the Blazers as the Kings came out with a 103-94 win.

The Phoenix Suns already proved last season that they're not a team to mess with in the Western Conference, but it'll also be interesting to see whether the Kings can consistently compete with playoff-caliber teams in the West.

Lakers fans may not have much to look forward to this season, but at least they get to witness Kobe Bryant turning back the clock every once in a while. Check out Bryant getting the step on Matt Barnes and throwing down the reverse dunk.
