Hello Games Unveils New No Man's Sky Trailer

Hello Games has unveiled a new trailer of No Man's Sky, showing how players can get from one planet to another and the various designs for planets.

No Man's Sky continues to look like one of the most interesting games coming next year, even though little and less has been shown on the missions.

The new trailer is captured all in real-time, meaning no segments were shortened through editing. If this is true, Hello Games is pumping a lot of power into the game, to make no load speeds from one world to another.

Like most huge investments into gaming, it is hard to take what Hello Games is saying without a pinch of salt. The ability to enter an entirely new planet and have it pre-rendered, without taking up gigabytes of resources, is unlikely.

Hello Games is taking a huge risk with No Man's Sky, especially with all of the hype coming from E3. The small development studio has not worked on a project this size before.

No Man's Sky looks to be an exploration game with space conflict elements. It is unclear if there will be missions, an economy or any real story. The latter is unlikely, considering the full experience will be procedurally generated.

Hello Games is working with Sony to create No Man's Sky and will have a limited exclusivity clause, followed by a release on PC. No word from Hello Games on an Xbox One launch, Sony might have invested more to keep the game off the rival console.

2015 is a big year for games, with titles like Tom Clancy's The Division, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, The Order: 1886 and Blizzard's Overwatch all coming. It may be hard for No Man's Sky to maintain an active playerbase with all of the new titles.
