T-Mobile's eccentric CEO John Legere has made a list of predictions for the coming year in response top "a lot of experts asking what's next in wireless."

His major prediction is that T-Mobile will continue to innovate in the wireless industry, adding 700MHz spectrum and Wideband LTE to over 300 million people, to compete heavily with Verizon Wireless. Subsidiaries will continue to be removed from all carriers; Sprint will try more wacky cuts to bring in more customers, and AT&T will look to find more ways to rip off customers, according to Legere.

Legere appears to be confident that T-Mobile is on the right route, while AT&T and Verizon Wireless continue to poach ideas; and Sprint tries to create new rifts in the market, but without the substance T-Mobile offers.

In the pre-paid battle, Legere expects MetroPCS to pull ahead of the pack, expanding from 15 to 45 metro areas in 2015.

The wearables market should open up in 2015. Legere says the market will go from $1 to $20 billion this year, thanks to the Apple Watch. Connected cars could also be a big market for tech companies to explore next year.

Phablets will continue to grow in the West, following the huge growth in South-East Asia in the past half-decade. The Galaxy Note has brought phablets into the mainstream, and now the iPhone 6 Plus is continuing the trend.

T-Mobile is in a great position to take over the U.S. carrier market in 2015, despite the lackluster service in certain states. The acquisition of more spectrum should beef up T-Mobile's network, and it is already bringing customers over every month.
