Kylie and Kendall YA Novel Receives Love from Young Fans but Bombs Online

Love 'em or hate 'em (and most people seem to lean towards the latter), the Kardashian-Jenner clan doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon and continues to make headlines.

Most recently, the two youngest Jenners, Kylie and Kendall, who are 16 and 19 respectively, have taken to the keyboard to pen their first YA novel titled Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia.

Now, no one seems quite clear on how these two managed to pull off writing an entire novel. Kendall was famously quoted earlier this year saying that she's not a good reader which begs to question how in the world she could be a good writer, and Kylie is currently being homeschooled by momager Kris Jenner which raises doubts about the quality of her education.

But fans of the two young stars don't seem to have any qualms about snatching copies of this dystopian novel off the shelves and flocking to have the two Jenner sisters sign them.

In fact, fans waited for over five hours at a Los Angeles mall on Thursday, all for the chance to meet Kylie and Kendall and get the two to autograph their copies of Rebels: City of Indra.

Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia is about two sisters (name Lex and Livia, in case you hadn't guessed that part) who embark on an adventure together.

The two Jenners collaborated with writer Maya Sloan for the project which, despite being well-received by young, adoring fans, has been given a lackluster one-and-a-half stars on the Barnes & Nobles website.

Reviews of the novel have also been less than stellar with readers pointing to an uninspiring plot and underdeveloped characters.

Perhaps this is the point where Kylie and Kendall Jenner should just say 'been there, done that,' and move on.
