Will Romney's Backbone Be Present on His Next Run for Presidency?

Mitt Romney is getting back on the saddle as he vies for the United States presidency again. While he vows to be different this time, the only thing that will impact his run is if Romney runs with a backbone this time.

Romney ran for presidency twice. He has also failed twice. However, that has not deterred him from his ambitions.

His allies say that it will be a different Romney this time as he brings a new personal style which was technically his old style stifled by his political consultants. Most of those allies seem to be back on.

Rumors swirling say that Romney will be emphasizing the eradication of poverty as one of his three campaign pillars.

He also wants to be less gaffe-prone which crudely translates to acting like a rich person who cares for the 47%. In addition, he will "position" himself to the right of Jeb Bush.

From all indications these things will bring positive changes to Romney's run, but the question is whether he will come equipped with a backbone he was lacking in his previous campaigns.

Neither his past tries showed Romney taking a position vaguely controversial with his party's rabid base.

He was also appalling towards immigration and weak on the fiscal sanity of the country. For the latter, he opposed a budget proposal that would include 90% cuts and 10% revenue increases.

Throughout all of these times, Romney never showed an ounce of real emotion. All things aside, he just wasn't real enough, which led the people to not trusting him.

If that isn't enough, Romney will be facing Bush and Christie, both of whom are formidable rivals.

But who knows.

In the end, Romney could surprise us all by coming out and championing the breaking up of big banks. This would gain him considerable support.

The only clear thing is, he needs to do something different than his past two runs, or history will repeat itself.
