LG G Flex 2 Launched with 5.5-Inch Curvy Full HD Screen and Sprint, AT&T Support

LG recently launched its new flagship mobile phone, LG G Flex 2, at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2015.

The new model features a more compact and curvy design as compared to its predecessor. According to reports, the LG G Flex 2 has a curved 5.5-inch P-OLED full HD display with 403 ppi pixel count. The previous model has a 6-inch display with 720 pixels resolution.

The LG G Flex 2 screen is protected by the South Korean tech giant's own glass cover, which is 20 percent stronger than Gorilla Glass 3. The handset's rear features a self-healing panel that fixes small scratches automatically in just 10 seconds.

The LG G Flex 2 comes with a Snapdragon 810 processor featuring a 64-bit octa-core chipset which has a Cortex A53 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and another one clocked at 2 GHz.

The new handset comes with an Adreno 430 GPU with two storage options such as 16 GB or 32 GB. The 16 GB has 2 GB of RAM while the 32 GB has 3 GB of RAM.

The LG G Flex 2 has a 13 MO rear camera with optical image stabilization, laser autofocus and dual-LED flash.

The handset also supports full HD video capture and 2160 pixels. It has a 2.1 MP front camera with full HD shooting.

The LG G Flex 2 comes with Android 5.0.1 Lollipop out of the box. AT&T announced its LG G Flex 2 support but has not stated any pricing and plans yet. Sprint also announced it will sell the Flamenco Red edition of the LG G Flex 2.
