(Photo : Airbnb) Tesla's Model S is one of the most attractive vehicles on the market, and for $85 you can sleep in the boot for a night on Airbnb.

The Tesla Model S has won countless of awards for design and comfort, but how does it function as a hotel? One Airbnb host is allowing users the experience for $85.

Steve from Phoenix, Arizona kitted out the back of his Model S with an airbed, remote controlled candles, temperature and music station.

Being an Uber driver, Steve has some requirements:

  • Guests need to be up at 8AM (can sleep in condo until later),

  • No smoking,

  • No pets,

  • No-one over 6'6" due to height restrictions,

Guests are allowed to use the kitchen, bathroom and living room in normal hours. Steve charges $85 or $595 for a week, with a $100 deposit.

Even though it might not sound like a bargain, for people normally sleeping on apartment floors it might be a step up to the usual routine - it is certainly going to attract attention amongst the other offerings on Airbnb.

In terms of Airbnb policy, the Tesla Model S seems to fit most the requirements, especially since Steve is offering most of the condo to the guest and the couch when he starts his shift for Uber.

Steve has three other listings, showing he is an active user of Airbnb. Most of the reviews come from the cabin and have excellent feedback, which hopefully means the Model S will be as accommodating.

What do you think—could you spend a night in the boot of a car?
