According to Bleacher Report, PPV providers in the U.S. will charge US$99.95 for the bout, while seats at the MGM Grand will cost a minimum of US$4,116 for early birds. But that's in the back. The front seats will cost US$22,000, according to Kurt Badenhausen of Forbes.

Despite the stiff price, tickets and PPV buys are expected to be sold out and record-breakers, respectively.

Expect again celebrities for the fight, including UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey who is saving enough cash to ensure that she has a good seat at the Mayweather-Pacquiao bout. She told TMZ that she has to win over Cat Zingano to earn "a couple million dollars" so she can afford the tickets at the fight that took several years to finalize.

Mayweather has just two remaining fights left in his contract with Showtime, the one on May 2 vs Pacquiao and the last one in September, after which he plans to retire from fighting and concentrate on building further Mayweather Promotions. His dream is to retire at 49-0 to match the perfect record of boxing icon Rocky Marciano.

Pacquiao, with his two recent losses, according to Bleacher Report, "can lose the fight and still be regarded as one of the greatest fighters in history, a spot he seems more than content in his life."
