Get ready to raise your tolerance of alcohol since having a drink will now be as easy as mixing orange juice.

The introduction of "Palcohol", the powdered alcohol that was recently approved for sale in the United States, promises just that. Again.

The green light was bestowed by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) for Palcohol, a powdered alcohol that can be mixed with water to make liquor.

A year earlier, TTB had already approved Palcohol for sale but retracted their decision quickly, citing the approval had been "issued in error."

Tom Hogue, spokesperson of TTB, said this most recent approval is only based on whether or not the product lives up to what it markets itself as. The label on the product needs to match what is actually inside, according to the Associated Press.

Hogue also said the potential for abuse isn't considered grounds for the TTB to deny the label. And with alcohol legal, there was nothing else TBT could do but approve it.

Palcohol inventor Mark Phillips said he hopes the product will be available early this summer.

While it has been greenlit across the board, some states could work to make palcohol illegal.

According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, several states have already banned palcohol. Among them are Alaska, Delaware, Michigan, Louisiana, South Carolina and Vermont.

Other states including Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, and Ohio are reported to be considering the ban, as well.

The main concern about Palcohol is its safety.

Since it's in powdered form, will people be able to snort it? Will spiking drinks be easier? Will kids be able to access it more?

Phillips retorted on his company's blog by saying alcohol in any form could be abused in any number of ways if one has the intention to do so.
