Manny Pacquiao Buys $12.5 Million Mansion Previously Owned By P. Diddy

Philippine Professional Boxer Manny Pacquiao, who is set to face Floyd Mayweather Jr in a fight this coming May 2, recently bought a US$12.5 million mansion previously owned by rapper P.Diddy in Beverly Hills, according to TMZ Sports via Sport Bible.

The former owner, P.Diddy, used to live in the mansion when he was still in a relationship with singer-actress Jennifer Lopez.

Despite a busy training schedule, the boxer spent time to visit the property last weekend. Real estate sources revealed that Pacquiao made a quick decision to buy the mansion.

The 36 year old boxer bought the 10,000 square foot property to accommodate his family during his upcoming match with Floyd Mayweather on May.

When Pacquiao moves to his posh abode his new neighbors will definitely include A-List Hollywood stars such as former 'No Doubt' lead singer Gwen Stefani and Hillary Duff, according to the Inquirer.

Even the house right next to Pacquiao's new home was previously owned by singer Britney Spears, according to Pacquiao's friend and real estate agent, Nick Enciso.

Enciso closed the deal on the mansion, which was located in the gated community popularly known as The Summit.

The Summit is a guard gated community in the Beverly Hills Post Office Area, which has a 24 hour security and car patrol. The community is long known to be a melting pot for celebrities.

Home prices located in this community can shoot up to US$3 million and can go further as US$14 million, depending on home condition and lot features.

"Manny knew it was what he wanted as soon as he entered the mansion," says Enciso.

If everything goes as planned, Pacquiao would be able to move into his new home within a month, days away from his big fight with Mayweather.
