(Photo : Sony) Sony has revealed pricing for the PlayStation Vue's three packages.

Sony launched PlayStation Vue -- its internet TV streaming service -- in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia earlier this week, and we finally get to see the prices for the three options.

This is the most expensive internet TV service available right now and it offers between 50 and 84 channels. The 'Access' package offers 50 channels at $49.99; the 'Core' package offers 60 channels at $59.99 and the 'Elite' package offers 84 channels at $69.99.

The Access package offers all of the main channels like Fox, Comedy Central, CNN, MTV, Discovery and CBS. The Core package adds a few sports channels for fans of the NFL and NBA. The Elite package adds everything, including the +1 and +2 channels for MTV and FX.

Sony has been able to grab the most channels out of any internet service, thanks in part to a deal with NBCUniversal (a subsidiary of Comcast) that's unwilling to partner with Apple or Dish Network's Sling TV.

It remains to be seen if more channels equal more subscribers. Early estimates claim Dish Network gained 100,000 subscribers in one month with Sling TV but that's a small pool compared to the 60 million Netflix subscribers or the millions of HBO Now subscribers we're bound to see when Game of Thrones airs.

Sony is looking to launch PlayStation Vue in more markets by the end of the year but might be limited by constraints put in place by Comcast and other programmers. If it can't get the service out to every state in the U.S., it might find a hard time winning over potential Sling TV customers.
