'The Proposal' star Sandra Bullock, called the police last year after catching a glimpse of her intruder heading into the attic of her home. The actress quickly hid in her bedroom cupboard, where she secretly called 911 to seek help.

The 15 minute conversation with 911 is the first piece of evidence for the case against Joshua Corbett, who broke into her home last June, according to News AU.

"I'm in my closet. I have a safe door. I'm locked in the closet right now," said Bullock while breathing heavily, in a recorded conversation between her and the 911 dispatcher.

Bullock gave a detailed description to the dispatcher as she shared that she went out to investigate weird noises outside her home.

"I thought it was a wind blowing. Then I saw that person," said Bullock.

Corbett was clutching a black notebook with a two page letter to Bullock, along with magazine pictures of the actress, according to a police officer's testimony.

"He said, 'I'm sorry, I love you Sandy'," said Los Angeles Police Officer Jose Bermudez, in a court testimony.

Security footage revealed Corbett appearing in Bullock's gate for three consecutive days prior to his arrest.

Los Angeles Police Detective Christina Carlozzi read the contents of Corbett's notebook, which also contained a letter to Bullock before he was arrested.

The notebook's contents were Corbett writing about Bullock as his wife, professing his love for the 'Speed' actress, expressing his desire to have sex with her and took note of the security measures in her home.

"There is two large impervious gates that no one can open but you. I hope one day you open them to me," said Carlozzi, deciphering Colbert's writings in the black notebook.

The actress is not anticipated to show up in the preliminary hearing, a determinant whether Corbett will stand trial if there is enough evidence to support it.

Corbett will also face charges of possession of illegal firearms, which included assault weapons, tracer ammunitions and machine guns.

The 39 year old Corbett, has pleaded not guilty to all charges pressed.
