Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao has something more than $100 million fight purse or bragging rights as motivation to beat undefeated American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2 at MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada. For the Filipino slugger, beating the flamboyant Mayweather would be his own way of giving the American a valuable lesson about honoring God above everything else.

In an interview with English online newspaper Mirror.co.uk, Pacquiao said he's eager to give Mayweather a lesson he will never forget by turning his American rival into a 'good boy' in their upcoming welterweight championship showdown.

"I want to teach him [Mayweather] a lesson," said Pacquiao via Mirror.co.uk via Boxing News 24. Pacquiao says he wants to "share the word of God" with Mayweather. Further, Pacquiao wants to teach Mayweather to be a "good person" after their fight on 5/2. "To be a good person, to be an example for everybody. To let him know that there is God and we should humble ourselves before God."

Mayweather and Pacquiao are locked to face each other in the most lucrative bout in the history of boxing, which is estimated to generate more than $400 million. The welterweight would also determine the best boxer in the era with both fighters accomplishing incredible feats in the sport.

Pacquiao, the first and only fighter to win world championship belts in eight different weight class, has been the greatest offensive force in this era, overwhelming his foes with sheer speed, agility and power. Mayweather, the premier defensive master of boxing, has proven time and time again that his shoulder roll defense along with his sublime counter-punching game is unbeatable in every way.
