Rafael Nadal isn't denying the fact that he's still far from reaching his best form on the tennis court. However, the Mallorcan Bull also isn't ready to concede his status as the King of Clay to his surging rival Novak Djokovic.

Nadal, who is looking for his 10th French Open title at Rolland Garros a month from now, insisted that there's nothing to worry about Djokovic's sizzling start and the Serb's threat to his reign on the red dirt in Paris because he has been used to it over the last five years.

"Djokovic was good in 2011, in 2012, 2013 as well as in 2015. Sometimes you win more and some you win less," Nadal said during the press-conference before he plunges into action at the Barcelona Open this week via EuroSports.

"It is difficult to win everything all the time. Djokovic was as good then in 2011 as he is now. He had an impeccable year in 2011 as well as he is having in 2015."

After a myriad of injuries (appendicitis and wrist injury) shortened his 2014 season and forced him to miss this year's Australian Open, Nadal began his 2015 campaign in South America, where he managed to bag the Argentina Open.

However, it was clear from the start the Spaniard was not playing at the peak of his abilities. The back-to-back early round exits at Indian Wells and Miami only exposed his vulnerability coming off a long layoff, as his mental game struggled to cope up with high level of tennis.

On the other hand, Djokovic was off to a torrid star since his epic run in 2011, when he captured the Australian, Wimbledon and US Open. After regaining the Australian Open title, the Serb won the Indian Wells, Miami and now the Monte Carlo Masters to become the first player in history to win the first three ATP Masters 1000 of the year. Because of his early success, Djokovic is now tabbed to end Nadal's reign in Rolland Garros.
