Newcomer Gulnezer Bextiyar Stuns Chinese Entertainment Industry

Gulnezer Bextiyar proved to be a breath of fresh air with her ethereal beauty which she credits to her Uighur heritage. Gulnezer, also known in China as Guli NaZha, is making a huge splash in the Chinese entertainment industry and has earned the praise of her fellow actors.

The young actress first entered the spotlight by participating in a modeling contest back in 2009 where she took home the award for the "Most Photogenic." She then tried her hand at acting and auditioned for the Beijing Film Academy in 2011. Thanks to the exposure she gained from her audition, she was discovered by the entertainment and media company Tangren Media and was signed under it before she even knew whether or not she had passed the audition.

The 22-year old, who is actually juggling her studies and acting career, managed to make a notable impression of herself despite acting alongside famous actors like Cecilia Liu and Hu Ge in the movie, "Xuan Yuan Sword: Scar of Sky." Though some movie viewers thought her look wasn't suited for a period drama, her beauty won the hearts of many, which opened more opportunities for her including starring in one of heartthrob Jay Chou's music videos and landing roles in major movies such as the "Police Story 2013."

As Gulnezer gradually became famous, more personal details about her and her family started surfacing. Her father is said to be one of the wealthiest businessmen in Xinjiang and she has reportedly undergone plastic surgery. Although she has yet to confirm the rumors about her father, she shot down the rumors about her going under the knife when she shared a photo of her as a child which showcased her unique features.

Aside from those, she has also been linked to "An Inspector Calls" actor Hans Zhang and several news outlets claimed that they were spotted together in Paris, though either of them has yet to confirm or deny the news.
