Pitch Perfect's Rebel Wilson Reveals Her Dream Role

After shining as Fat Amy in the musical films Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2, Rebel Wilson revealed that she wants to play the role of a female rapper next.

The 29-year old, who stars alongside Anna Kendrick, Elizabeth Banks and Brittany Snow in the Pitch Perfect franchise, revealed that she hopes to someday play the role of a hip hop star. Apparently, Rebel Wilson is a "gleek," the term which refers to fans of the musical comedy drama series, "Glee."

Rebel Wilson said she would "love to do something where I play a female rapper."

Aside from rapping, Rebel Wilson also shared that she would to love to headline a documentary about Bette Midler, who is considered as one of the most iconic female singers and actresses in America and a big fan of the Pitch Perfect movies.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Rebel Wilson said that if there is indeed a Bette Midler biopic, she would want to sing all of her songs and star in it, as Midler, she says is "way cool" and "legit."

Meanwhile, Rebel Wilson has become vocal about wanting to have a Pitch Perfect Fat Amy Spinoff. Talking to THR, Wilson and co-star Snow shared what storylines they'd want to have if the movie gets picked up for another sequel.

Rebel Wilson said that she wants the Bellas to become a legit accagroup after College, but also thinks that a Fat Amy story "would be awesome." As for Snow, she revealed that she would love to see her Pitch Perfect character let loose and quit being too controlling.

If there is indeed plans to make a third movie, the movie's scriptwriter Kay Cannon, has made it clear that she is totally in charge and has no plans to let another writer take over her "baby." She also added that she would want former Saturday Night Live cast member, Tracy Morgan in the movie because he is "hilarious."

Her fans will once again be able to witness Rebel Wilson's acting prowess when Pitch Perfect 2 hits theaters on May 15.
