(Photo : Reuters) Rumors about the impending release of an iMac 8K by the technological giant Apple are doing the rounds.

Apple is going to charge $9.99 on a monthly basis for providing the service of music streaming on its devices. It will not be offering a free streaming tier like other music services such as Spotify, but it will provide free trial before its charging phase.

The free trial period will last between one to three months, depending upon the negotiation, which Apple will soon be doing with the music companies, states iDigital Times. Fans are hoping for an extended trial period.

Apple is trying to negotiate with companies like FTC and the Department of Justice to give them supported free music streaming, but nothing positive is seen from these talks as of yet. In the free trial, the users will be able to sample the music service for a good amount of time before deciding to purchase the full service, states Patently Apple.

Apple is also working on a feature which will let the artists and musicians to upload samples of their personal works, which the fans can enjoy after subscribing to the service. This can be seen as similar to the app Sound Cloud, which is a huge music sharing platform where budding musicians can upload their original works.

In addition, Apple is also planning to give free music to its users with the revamp iTunes Radio. The rumors about this are rife, that the next update of iTunes radio will be sporting stations which will be curated with the help of humans, and not computers.

Keeping in mind its top competitors like YouTube and Spotify, Apple is making all efforts to get new things on its users' plates and lead the race. However, the company itself does not want to provide the music streaming service free-of-charge as it will generate less revenue for the company.
