EXO Updates: Lay Joins Chinese Variety Program ‘Go Fighting’ As Regular Member

The popular Chinese variety program "Go Fighting" has roped in EXO's member Lay as a regular cast member. The first poster of Lay was reportedly posted on Weibo to announce his casting. Sporting a confused look, he is seen holding a white mask in the poster.  

The second poster, according to reports, features him wearing shades and he is looking dapper. The tagline on this poster says "Wars of men are fought for women."  In addition to Lay, "Go Fighting" also stars Chinese actor Huang Bo, Taiwanese actor Show Luo and Chinese actor Sun Honglei.

Meanwhile, it is being reported that Lay recently visited hospital due to neck injury. He got himself checked during the filming of "Go Fighting." It is not clear how he sustained the injury, but according to reports, the director of the show has assured fans that Lay is doing okay. The first episode of "Go Fighting" is reportedly scheduled to air sometime in June.

The news about Lay signing on as a regular member of "Go Fighting" follows the news of another EXO member's movie debut. According to Allkpop, it is now confirmed that EXO's Byun Baekhyun is set to make his movie debut with "Dokgo."

Baekhyun is currently starring as himself in EXO's mini-Web drama, titled "EXO Next Door." It has received 10 million views on Naver TV Cast, according to SM Entertainment. The 16-episode drama made its debut on April 09 and has releaed12 episodes till now. It is being reported that the episodes of "EXO Next Door" will be edited and released in a movie version via IPTV, as it has reportedly gained immense popularity around the world.

"EXO Next Door" is currently seen by EXO fans in China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand and Taiwan. SM and Line, a mobile messenger app, are producing it.
