Aamir Khan Starrer Bollywood Movie 'PK' To Be Released In China; Chinese Fan Kisses Aamir Khan

Bollywood movie "PK," featuring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput, is getting a wide release in China on Friday, May 22. It is reportedly going to be released in 3,500 venues.

Variety reported that Wang Baoqiang of "Lost in Thailand" and "Personal Tailor" fame has done the voice for Mr. Khan's character. "PK" is said to be the first Indian movie that is getting released in China after being dubbed in Chinese.

Meanwhile, PK recently had a grand premiere in Shanghai Art Center. Mr. Khan attended the premiere ceremony. The actor met Jackie Chan during the premiere. According to Pink Villa, both the actors were in awe of each other. Mr Chan and Mr Khan discussed movies and the former conveyed his wishes to "PK" team. The Chinese actor was reportedly all praise for PK. Mr Khan and Mr. Chan will soon begin filming "Kung Fu Yoga." China and India will be co-producing three movies, including "Kung Fu Yoga."    

At the premiere, Mr. Khan was in for a sweet surprise. A Chinese fan planted a kiss on actor's cheek, Mid Day reported. The actor was caught completely unaware. In addition to kissing, the girl also whispered something in his ear. Later Mr. Khan joined a group of students and danced with them to the song from his another popular movie "Doom 3."

Mr. Khan's earlier movie "3 Idiots" was a huge hit in China and since then, the actor has a huge fan following in the country. Rajkumar Hirani has directed both "3 Idiots" and "PK."  The state owned enterprise China Film Group is releasing "PK" in China. According to Variety, it released the major Hollywood import titles in the country.

PK was released on Dec. 19, 2014 in India and internationally, and it reportedly earned $97 million.
