The Adobe Photoshop touch app comes across as a boon for such mobile phone users who till now had the facility to use this software and decorate the not so good pictures from their mobile; however, the mobile users will soon be looking for alternatives to this option as Adobe has announced that it will shut down the Photoshop app, starting next week. The new apps are being called as the capture apps which consist of the following options: Colour CC, Brush CC, and Shape CC, respectively. It is said that the new apps will also include options like Comp CC, Photoshop Mix, etc.

The Photoshop touch app that ruled the hearts of users for several years was launched way back in 2011. In Adobe's blog post, the makers confirmed that they would be removing the option from the app store and Google play store list. The removal is going to be gradual and well planned.

According to Thenextweb, it was announced that the app will only be available until Thursday; however, the users with the app will still be able to use it as it remains completely functional or can still be able to download it from their purchase history though they will no longer receive any updates for it.

Meanwhile, Adobe also said that the reason in shutting down the Photoshop touch app was to be able to focus on the creative options in a better way.
