With all the rumors surrounding Kevin Love's opt out option this offseason, the Cavaliers forward quenched every one of them by saying that he "expects to be back" with LeBron James and company in October, according to a report from Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

The report also mentioned that Love's injury was healing very well and he anticipates to suit up for the first game of the 2015-2016 season still with the Cavs.

The All-Star power forward has a year left in his contract with Cleveland, but he could opt out of it this summer to either pursue a new, longer contract with the Cavs, or to transfer to a new team altogether as a free agent. Based on Love's answers to reporters, it was clear the he wants to stay put.

There had been league-wide speculations during the past week that Love would be out of Cleveland this summer and headed to the Los Angeles Lakers next season. An article by Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation reported that the Lakers are prepared to give him a max salary just to come home to L.A. and join Kobe Bryant, Julius Randle, and the no. 2 pick of the draft next season.

It was even mentioned in the article that with Love, the Lakers would suddenly have one of the league's "best young rosters" with the emergence of Jordan Clarkson and the return of Randle from injury.

However, recent reports have diluted the excitement of Showtime fans as Love admits he is going nowhere.

Meanwhile, Milwaukee Bucks guard/forward Jared Dudley had some words of advice for the 26-year-old former UCLA standout. In a video shown in an article by Geoffrey C. Arnold at The Oregonian, Dudley advised Love to say put in Cleveland, saying that "if you leave LeBron" then you are "leaving a winner."

Dudley may have even discouraged Love to come home to L.A. by saying that nobody really wants to play with Bryant anymore. He said that unlike Michael Jordan who toned down during his Wizard days, Kobe is the exact opposite. Dudley stressed that Bryant wants to show everyone that he can still play at his top form, forcing his shots on the floor, which is becoming detrimental to the whole team.
