Swiss computer accessories provider Logitech International S.A. unveiled what it claims is the fastest gaming mouse ever made.

The G402 Hyperion Fury can track as fast as anyone can click or move thereby eliminating unnecessary lags. Using Logitech's exclusive Fusion Engine sensor technology, the Fury can reliably track over 500 inches per second with its exclusive Delta Zero sensor.

Commands are executed with extreme speed along with its eight programmable buttons that provide a consistent 1-millisecond report rate. 

Logitech's gaming software allows these buttons to be configured from single keystrokes to complex macros where all personal configurations can be saved for easier access.

The Fury took three years to develop and involved intensive research and development, according to Ehtisham Rabbani, Logitech's general manager for the gaming business.

Developed by Logitech engineers, the Fusion Engine solves the most common problem any first person shooter gamer has: a mouse that simply can't track as fast as they can move.

The combination of state-of-the-art optical sensor technology that includes an accelerometer and a gyroscope provides unmatched tracking speeds, especially for FPS games.

Lightweight materials were also used to enable high-speed moves. Low-friction feet allow a more comfortable and smoother feeling.

Along with its Fusion Engine, the Fury boasts of a Delta Zero technology with four DPI settings that can be readily accessed while shifting down for pixel-perfect sniping or shifting up for high-speed maneuvers.

There is also a fifth DPI setting for personalized settings that can be saved and accessed easily.

This advantage enables a smoother DPI shifting from 4000 DPI to 250 DPI in an instant, allowing any gamer to experience the battlefield chaos with utmost flexibility.

The Fury will be available beginning August 2014 and will retail for US $59.99.
