The Chicago Bulls reportedly wants to shore up their frontline in preparation for a Taj Gibson or Joakim Noah trade and eyes Euroleague MVP Nemanja Bjelica of Serbia as a valuable replacement, according to Fansided.

The 6-foot-10 Bjelica, who is presently under terms with the Minnesota Timberwolves, is an anomaly on the basketball court. He can play all five positions with his versatility, speed, outside shooting, and ball handling abilities.

Scouting reports reveal that he plays point forward in stretches for his Euroleague team Fenerbahçe Ülker and for the Serbian national team. Despite of his height, there were even some scouts that regard him as a swing guard that can alternate between the no. 2 and no. 3 positions.

Chicago Sun-Times reported that former Philadelphia 76ers general manager Brad Greenberg called him a "point guard trapped in a power forward body."

"Bjelica is the most efficient and consistent player on his team," Greenberg told reporters. "He's unique because he can move with and without the ball, run the floor and start a fast break. He has isolation sets run for him, he can attack from the top and poses all sorts of problems."

This would be a huge upside for the Bulls' offense if indeed they want to trade Gibson or Noah, but their defense may suffer as the power forward's only known weakness is right at the defensive end.

Still, it is exciting to think about what he could contribute to the Bulls' offense once he gets to play alongside former MVP Derrick Rose and rising star Jimmy Butler. Along with a new coach, Chicago's whole offensive look may be drastically changed with the inclusion of Bjelica.

Another interesting note is if this deal pushes through, Fred Hoiberg will work with an all-European starting frontline made up of Spain's Pau Gasol, Yugoslavia's Nikola Mirotić, and Bjelica.

However, the Bulls are not the only team interested in acquiring the service of the Serbian. CBS Sports reported that the Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, and Brooklyn Nets are all keen on offering a deal to Minnesota for Bjelica.

The Wolves have not yet signed the 27-year-old Euroleague legend, but there are speculations that they are willing to trade Bjelica if any team could offer the right pieces.
