It's confirmed! Radamel Falcao will go to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea FC paid AS Monaco a £5 million loan deal to sign the Colombian striker for a year, according to BBC News.

Chelsea FC signed Falcao with an agreement to cut more than 25% of his previous salaries of £265,000 per week so that he can play at Stamford Bridge for a year.

Speculations are surfacing that not only the Colombian striker was the player Chelsea FC wanted this summer transfer window. They are also keen to improve and reconstruct their forward line with France and Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann emerging as the Blues' main target via Express.co.uk.

However, French star forward has a £43m buy-out clause in his contract at Atletico De Madrid, which Chelsea FC is ready to accept. Griezmann is a forward who operates from the wings. He was efficient attacking from that angle during his 2013-14 campaign at Real Sociedad, scoring 20 goals in all competitions and proved it once more during his 2014-15 stint with Atletico with 25 goals - the highest goal tally on the team.

According to sources, Loic Remy is scheduled to talk with manager Jose Mourinho about his future when pre-season began next month. The edition of Radamel Falcao made him the 3rd option among the strikers of Chelsea FC, prompting speculations that his days with the Blues are numbered.

On the other news, Liverpool FC had an offer for FC Barcelona central defender Marc Bartra along with FC Porto which already submitted a bid, while Bayern Munich and Manchester United have also shown intention to sign the Spaniard, per Express.co.uk.

Marc Bartra felt that he was not getting a regular playing time at Camp Nou, which is more important for him rather than the money he was getting. However, teams interested in Bartra should wait a bit more time as Barca is in the middle of club elections right now, making negotiation with them difficult.

Marc Bartra has a release clause of €12 million, but this offer stands until July 1st. Team looking to sign him should pay €50 million to get the deal done.
