After a lackluster year in Hollywood, Jeremy Lin's destiny continues to be a mystery. While it is expected that he will no longer be donning the purple and gold jersey come October, there are many teams reportedly vying for his services.Including the Indiana Pacers and the Phoenix Suns.

It is certain thatLin did not play poorly during his time in Los Angeles. Last season, he averaged 11.2 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 4.6 assists for the Lakers amidst limited minutes and a backup role behind rookie sensation Jordan Clarkson.

According to Fansided, teams like the New York Knicks, Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, Sacramento Kings, Washington Wizards, and the Los Angeles Clippers are possible destinations for the former Harvard standout in 2015-2016 primarily as a backup point guard.

But as for the Pacers and Suns, these two teams are also deprived of abackup playmaker and off-the-bench scorer.

Rant Sports indicated that Larry Bird does not intend to keep point guard C.J. Watson next year. Their starter, George Hill, has been battling with injuries lately and it seems like he could never stay healthy for a whole season.

By acquiring Lin, the Pacers would have a reliable backup who can play starter minutes and produce starter numbers as wellif needed.

After last season, Lin's value surely dropped down to what Indiana can only offer him. This is still a good deal for Lin as the Pacers could give the 6-foot-3, 200-pound Torrance native a more significant role and a chance to revive his career.

Meanwhile, the Suns are also reportedly eyeing Lin to fill the void created by Isaiah Thomas' departure last season. Actually, Christian Today had reported the possibility of Lin transferring to Phoenix as early as January. He would have been the perfect backup to Eric Bledsoe if only the deal had consummated.

Lin could definitely thrive in the Suns' less-structured offense. He is more potent when the ball is in his hands, finding open teammates and driving in the lane, much like what he did with Mike D'Antoni in New York where Linsanity was born.

Only two weeks to go before free agency begins and until then no one really knows for sure where J-Lin is likely headed.
